Starting to pack our bags

"Sweet Sounds for Africa"...

For those of you who might have missed our fundraiser, here's a few pictures. We had a marvelous event, complete with dancers, drummers and yummy auction items. We raised enough funds to secure basic in-country expenses and assure a quality program for the "Safe Birth" training program.

Planning is ramping up as D-day (Departure-day) approaches. We have been planning this trip for months, now we're in the thick of it...planning training days, wardrobe, transportation, supplies (both to purchase here and in country), food...

We have one last fundraising opportunity for you: A limited raffle of 100 tickets for:

One night's stay at the Arizona Biltmore and dinner for two at the exclusive Wright's Restaurant inside the Biltmore. A perfect get-away for two!

Tickets can be purchased from any of our team members and are $25 each. Hurry as there are not many left!

We'll be posting as D-Day gets closer. We plan to post on a regular basis during our month-long training.
